Service Description
Já Taxi Iceland provides private airport transfer services between Keflavík International Airport (KEF) and the Reykjavík capital area. All transfers are pre-booked and operated by an independent driver. We also offer transfers to and from the Blue Lagoon and private day tours.
Booking and Confirmation
Bookings can be made through our website, by phone (770 2746), or via WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. No payment is required at the time of booking.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in Icelandic króna (ISK) and include VAT. Prices are fixed at the time of booking and will not change due to traffic, detours, or delays. Payment is made directly to the driver at the end of the transfer. We accept credit/debit cards and cash.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup, or failure to show up at the agreed time and place, may be charged the full fare. To cancel, contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email.
Flight Delays and Schedule Changes
We monitor incoming flights at Keflavík Airport. If your flight is delayed, we automatically adjust your pickup time at no extra charge. Please include your flight number when booking to enable this service. If your flight is cancelled, please notify us as soon as possible for a free cancellation.
Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers are expected to be at the agreed pickup location at the confirmed time. For airport pickups, the driver will wait up to 30 minutes after the flight lands. For hotel or address pickups, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes after the scheduled time. After the waiting period, the booking may be considered a no-show.
Luggage and Vehicle
Standard transfers accommodate up to 4 passengers with typical travel luggage. If you have oversized luggage, extra bags, or special equipment, please mention this in the booking notes so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Liability
Já Taxi Iceland is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, volcanic activity, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund.
Privacy
We collect your name, contact details, and trip information solely to provide the requested service. We do not share your personal information with third parties. Booking data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the service and handle any follow-up communication.
Your Data Rights
Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@jataxi.is. We will respond within 30 days.
