Information We Collect
When you use our booking or contact form, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off locations, travel dates and times, flight number, number of passengers, and any notes. You provide this information voluntarily. We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the website; it does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information, only anonymous usage data such as page views.
Why We Process Your Data
We process your data to perform the contract with you: arranging, confirming, and carrying out your booking. We also process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and handling follow-up communication. We do not use your information for marketing unless you explicitly consent.
Sharing
We share pickup details with the driver assigned to your booking. We may disclose information where required by Icelandic law, including reporting obligations that apply to licensed taxi services. We never sell or rent your personal information.
Processors and International Transfers
We use trusted service providers to operate this website: Vercel (website hosting and cookieless analytics), Resend (delivery of booking and contact emails, EU region), Rapyd (secure card payment processing when you pay in advance online; your card details are handled by Rapyd and are never stored by us), and Upstash (short-lived technical booking data, EU region). Some providers may process data outside the EEA under recognized safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data Retention
We keep booking and contact information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time; we will delete it except where the law requires us to keep it, for example accounting records, which Icelandic bookkeeping law requires us to retain for seven years.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR and Icelandic data protection law, you have the right to access your personal data, have inaccurate data corrected, request deletion, object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format.
